Absolute pros ! Customer obsessed, talented, timely with fantastic communication. Without a doubt the best flooring company you can find in town - we did herringbone, straight planks, and brass inlays. Results were beautiful, place left spotless. Can’t recommend the team enough! We hired Unique Flooring to rip out carpets in two bedrooms, refinish the main rooms and install soundproofing and hardwood throughout our condo. They were fast, VERY clean, and did impeccable work. Communication was easy. We were blown away at the craftsmanship and how beautiful our floors look! I would highly recommend them for their beautiful work!

Mike and his team did a fantastic job on my hardwood floors! The quality of work was great, they were on time, and within budget.

Mike provided me with the estimate in a timely manner, and I really liked that he met me on the job site the morning that they started the work to make sure he was clear on the work that needed to be completed. Communication was overall good, could have been a touch better, but not a big issue. I would highly recommend Unique Flooring!

I recently had my floors refinished by unique hardwood flooring and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, their customer service was outstanding—clear communication, punctual scheduling, and a genuine willingness to answer all of my questions. The team was professional, respectful of my home, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right.

The quality of their work speaks for itself—my floors look absolutely beautiful, better than I imagined. Every detail was handled with care, and the finish is flawless. It’s rare to find a company that delivers both top-notch craftsmanship and excellent service, but Mike and his team at unique hardwood flooring truly does.

Mike’s team, led by Jesus, did an exceptional job with our two flat. They removed carpet in several places, installed our basement flooring, refinished the hardwoods on the main floor, and installed new hardwood in the master. Their work and attention to detail was fantastic. Mike also was very easy to reach throughout the process and actively reached out often to update us in progress. While their work is high quality, they also were very very efficient. The job was done in less than a week.

Mike and his crew did an outstanding job refinishing the hardwood floor in my home. There were some high traffic areas and spots around a kitchen island that were very worn and scratched. Now it looks like a new floor, couldn’t be happier. I felt the price was very fair based on the results. Mike was quick to respond, quick with the quote and quick to complete the job. Great communication throughout the project. Really felt they took their time to answer any questions and worked with me to make sure I got the desired look I was after. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Mihai and his team were amazing. Responsive, efficient, and they did a beautiful job. I had a limited window to have carpet removed and hardwood put in before I moved and they worked with my schedule and were incredibly communicative. The end result was better than I could have imagined. They matched the color and the direction of the existing wood floors in the hallway perfectly. Photos are before and after of the bedroom.

Mihai and his team did excellent work for our new condo. They refinished the existing floors and installed hardwood in the bedrooms. They were super easy to communicate with and were very flexible and knowledgeable with their craft. I'm super impressed with the work and am extremely grateful to have found them to do our floors. This was the first time I've done any floor work and I would totally recommend them for any and all hardwood floor work.

Mike from Unique Hargwood Flooring Chicago came to our house and provide us with a fair quote . His team did an amazing job at installing wood flooring in the kitchen and refinishing all our existing wood flooring . They communicated every step of the way and send pictures of the progress while we were on vacation. We can’t be more happier with the final result and we highly recommend them to anyone.

Michael and his team are our go-to flooring guys! We have used them 3 times now on 2 different houses and working with them has always been great! They are timely, professional, and helpful. In 2022, they helped us with a kitchen remodel, which involved feathering new wood into our existing floor and re-finishing the floors. There were a few complications we ran into along the way and Michael and his team were really helpful in resolving our issues. Anytime we work on our hardwood floors, our fist call is to Michael, and we look forward to working with him in the future.

My quarter sawn oak floors were water damaged and needed to be refinished. After considering several flooring companies, I chose Unique Hardwood Flooring and I am so glad that I selected it over all the others. My floors were refinished in a beautiful stain and finish by knowledgeable and skilled workmen. They started and completed the refinishing project as scheduled in April 2023 and conducted themselves in a professional manner. I especially like the fact that the owner was prompt and responsive to all my calls.

Mihai and John replaced dingy old carpet on my condo stairs and in our condo common area stairs with oak. They started on time, finished on time, were very communicative, and did excellent work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others, and I’d be happy to use them for an upcoming floor refinishing job for myself.

Mihai and his crew were incredibly professional, flexible with our moving target install date, and did amazing work. Flawless installation! Jesus is amazing! He replaced horribly water-damaged boards, sanded, stained and polished so I now have gorgeous floors that have increased the value of my home considerably. He is a lovely person who left my home cleaner than when he arrived. The price was very fair. I highly recommend this excellent company.

ALL AROUND AWESOME! Michael and his team met or exceeded every expectation. He was flexible from the very beginning, as he was unable to come in to quote me since we had not yet owned the property. He was easy to communicate with, timely and professional. The price was competitive!!

The guys put in work and made our floors look BRAND NEW. love them!

I had a great experience with Michael and his team. Michael was communicative and knowledgeable about the latest and best sealants on the market. We had some wear on our 20-yr old red oak floors and took the opportunity get rid of the oil poly finish and go for a more natural looking water poly finish. I'm really happy with the results and highly recommend you contact Michael if your floors need a redo.

 Verified We had such an incredible experience working with Unique Hardwood Flooring! We are new homeowners and were on a bit of a time crunch to get our project done before our move in date. Michael and his team were able to knock out refinishing our first floor, and installing hardwood upstairs in two weeks! They did an amazing job and Michael communicated quickly throughout the entire project to make sure we were kept in the loop. Their work really made our new house look incredible, and we are so grateful for that. When we got quotes, Unique flooring was by far the best price and offered the fastest turnaround time.
